Min. with Sue Reeve, Sherpa Blog Editor Marketplace Ministry can Shape the Culture What if professional marketplace work is one of the most important components in the increasingly complex life of the 21st century and beyond? This was the conviction of the late Dr. Dallas Willard who believed that work was a fundamental structure of love in the kingdom of God and that its noble and godly purpose was to bring people together in loving community for mental benefit and support—a fundamental part of how God blesses the world and one of the significant ways God desires to be with us in the shaping of our culture and the stewarding of our world. Sharon has experienced up close and personal how marketplace work can be both a calling and powerful tool for spiritual formation and transformation.
